For those of you using windows 10 try below: open Comand prompt (Admin) by right clicking on windows button bottom left corner. If they all have access to a large shared mailbox, add this as a second account in outlook, rather an an additional mailbox - this will create separate OST's for each account, not one large one. Check the size of their OST's, anything above 2G will corrupt regularly in my experience. As it's happening regularly for several users i'd start to look at why the OST is corrupting. Since recreating their outlook profile fixes the issue - that backs up the chances of it being OST related. Whenever I've seen this it's caused by a corrupt OST file. FWIW, hope it helps and best of luck with the fickle Outlook outbox.
